Belgium right? ---If not, completely disregard this post, or feel free to jump in on the Belgium Bashing... not all bad, great beers and chocolate, but there are some bad points.... 1. Roads: some are in some pretty rough condition, and the pavement that makes your tires sound loud is annoying. 2. Speed limits by road work: WTF that is too slow for some things. 40km/h is way too slow for just about anything but driving a car through a school building...however, I did see 2 manakins on the side of the road looking like they were just standing there and made me blink for half a second, minor cool points there 3.Aquarium: Went to one just west of Bruges on the North Sea. It was mighty pathetic, just barely better than the one in Baltimore as the sea turtle there had all of its fins. It did get beaten out by an aquarium in a mall in Seoul, South Korea though... Discuss. Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow. But he won't know what to make of your blinker signal that says you're about to turn right. This is to let him know you're pulling off for a proper place to talk. It'll take him a moment to realize he's about to make a 180 degree turn, at speed. But you will be ready. Brace for the "G"s. Fast heel-toe work. |

I have never been to Belgium so I refrain from discussing, however I think Jess will join in on the bashing. ~~~~~A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. I agree with all three points *__*I add: 1) Too goddamn many road signs. They're everywhere 2) An odd rise in barbershops. Seriously, the main road here has 3. That's 300 meters of road. 3 barbershops. Though this is probably not very noticeable when you're just driving through 3) Uh... Small things Look at me, I'm a sneaky online ninja |

Eh, many Belgians confuse their own flag with Germany's >_> *__*Which is probably why you see more Flemish flags around here anyway. Nothing to do with seperatistic ideologies, nooo. Just plain confusion. Look at me, I'm a sneaky online ninja |
